Do Well, Be Well with Diabetes is a program covering four nutrition and six self-care management topics. The program helps people with diabetes learn the skills needed to manage their disease successfully. County Extension Agents work with health professionals to implement this important program in many counties in Texas.
Master of Memory
The goal of the Master of Memory program is to improve participants' memory function. The program encourages people to recognize that they can impact their memory function, and teaches them how to do so. The program is a six lesson series that can be presented to various community groups.
Master Wellness Volunteer Program
This program provides volunteers with 40 hours of health and nutrition training. In return, volunteers are asked to give 40 hours of volunteer service to the Texas AgriLife Extension Service. It's a great way to gain knowledge and skills to put into practice in your own life while you help the community!
